Our bushes which have thrived for the past 10 years are dying ,there seems to be blotches of white on the bottom of the bush where the roots meet the stem of the bush..

Any ideas please

Also why do some conifir bushes die off on one section only and then after some considereble they start to come to life again. These bushes are in the rear garden as opposed to the other bushes which are in the front
Thank you e

If there are any marks on the leaves, cut some off and take them along to your garden centre, they are always very helpful. Also try to take a digital photo of the place on the bush where it has gone white, and show them that too.

Conifers need lots of water otherwise the underneath will go brown. Dont plant any other shrubs near conifers or they will die, the conifers take all the water available.
