window help

Buying plain vertical blinds for french doors and end of room window but would like to add some voile etc to brighten it up.Not very clever with fabrics etc. Any simple ideas would be really great.

John Lewis sell lovely voile panels in various colours either drape one either side of the window or just one side and gather and tie back to the side, but you will need a curtain pole.
