Due to a major internal revamp of our home, i will soon need to extend the satelite cable. It currently runs down the outside wall for about 3m and then acreoss the floor for 3m.
I really need to add another 5m on to this. Can anyone give me some advice ?...is it a straightforward job (just pop down to homebase and buy the extension) ?
If anyone has any help, i'd be very pleased.
Thanks in advance

can't help with your question I'm afraid Hammerman, just wanted to say that my local Maplin store sells all satellite bits and bobs, cables, adaptors etc, so if you have one of those nearby it might be better than Homebase
My son had to do the same and just bought an extension cable from a local discount store --it was very cheap and works perfectly. I guess Curry's will have one.

Thanks guys....got a maplins about a mile from work. Will pop up there monday for advice.
I do not have satelite but cable at my home. I had to do same. When I asked cable people they were asking 100 for that. I went to Maplins, bought 25 meter cable and ran it myself. I think it cost about 15.
