impatience plants

How can I keep my impatience plants inside thru the winter to allow to bring back out in the late spring? great-nana-J (Sun 22:01 24/Oct/04)

Impatiens really don't do very well held over.  I've tried it, but they get very leggy.  Impatiens generally need lots of sun.  Good luck, though...

They do get leggy but you can take cuttings of them very easily in the spring which is a very cheap way of getting a lot more good new plants

I agree with Clanad and Drewhound , Busy Lizzies just aren't worth the bother, They are reasonably cheap to buy or you could even have a go at growing some from seed next Spring.
