How can I keep my impatience plants inside thru the winter to allow to bring back out in the late spring? great-nana-J (Sun 22:01 24/Oct/04)

(Sun 22:24 24/Oct/04) Impatiens really don't do very well held over.  I've tried it, but they get very leggy.  Impatiens generally need lots of sun.  Good luck, though...

(Mon 08:27 25/Oct/04) They do get leggy but you can take cuttings of them very easily in the spring which is a very cheap way of getting a lot more good new plants

(Mon 08:52 25/Oct/04) I agree with Clanad and Drewhound , Busy Lizzies just aren't worth the bother, They are reasonably cheap to buy or you could even have a go at growing some from seed next Spring.
