Replacement Remote Control

I have a Matsui portable TV, but although the remote control still works, the plastic casing is cracked.

The TV is over 14 years old, is there somewhere I can purchase a replacement?

I'm sure you can get universal remote controls from Currys etc.

Thanks, I'll have to go there and ask if it will work with my old TV.

Try ASDA first, I recently bought a 'masterplug' replacement remote control for less than a fiver. All you have to do is aim it at the TV and put in a four digit code until you find one that is right for your TV. My own Matsui was only about 10 years old and some of the buttons were worn out and this remote was perfect. It has a choice of about 18 different 4 digit codes for Matsui so I'm sure you'll find one that is right for your TV and it is cheap.

Have Your Say

With road tax hikes hitting those with 2001-2006 registered cars, would you consider selling up and buying a pre-2001 model to escape the the tax mans wrath?

Yes

No

The hikes don't really bother me
