Shower curtain

Have just bought a new one, and it's plain white. one side is plasticky and shiny, the other slightly softer and more material like. Which side goes towards the bath?! ie- nearest your skin?!

Well you might think that, but my old shower curtain had the "material" type on BOTH sides, so clearly both can be used.

No, I really am that dumb. But alas, I think you are the dumb one, since you haven't realised that the point of this website is to HELP people who have questions and who need answers, regardless of how silly they may seem to others. This site is full of people needing to know, and people who do know. I know a lot about some subjects- in fact I am a lecturer and have a 1st class degree. But other subjects I just don't know about- shower curtains being one of them. ALL the shower curtains I have had before have been the same material front and back. I didn't want to go to all the trouble of hooking it up and find it was on back to front. I have a broken back, and reaching up to do it once would be bad enough, but twice would be really difficult for me.
If you really believe that posting an answer "r u thick?" is constructive, helpful, interesting or even slightly relevant to this site, then you are deluded. And thick.
