Why does is say Not to Use the long life bulbs in an enclosed Fitting.

Maybe it's a dimmer switch, in which case you can't. I've used them wherever I use ordinary or spot bulbs.

maybe its because of heat build-up,Haven't seen it on any I've fitted.
