I'm looking to buy two leather sofa-beds in aged brown but the only ones that I can find that suit our requirements are in a solid brown colour (Ikea).

Does anyone know of any products you can get that would age/distress the leather to make it look a bit more worn in?

Alternatively, does anyone know of a company that would recover sofa-beds well (and cost effectively).

You might try talking to your local cobbler (who should be an expert on leather and know others who are), an interior designer, and a furniture company.

I saw a new chair at the furniture store, distressed as though it were sixty years old. It was beautiful and I coveted the costly thing very much.

Good luck!
