Toilet Seats!

Daft question, but does any toilet seat fit any toilet or do they com in different sizes?? I need to buy two and it only just occurred to me that one size may not fit all...

I know you have different shape toilet bowls but I believe the standard fits all the standard shape.

Hi smowball, how is the fly problem? Afaik toilet seat fittings are standard.

All toilet seats are bum size.

Take it from someone who used to fit a few every week.
They do vary but most of the ones around ard of the universal type, they have a rotating plate at the hinge which allows you to adjust the position of the fixing bolt.
As soon as you start talking about designer toilet pans then you may well find that the standard shaped seat doesn't sit down properly on the pan.

Lol, no the ones I'm replacing are standard regular toilet seats. The one upstairs is one of those slow closing ones but I'm not too bothered about having that again.
And Tambo - the fly situation is brilliant!! 95% reduction so far I would say!
