Does anyone know the name of the little plastic thing that goes into a hole on a bookcase? It is to balance the shelf on.

The bookshelf fell down - nothing to do with my not so little boy cat playing on it.

shelf support brings up lots in B&Q
shelf support pins?
usually called them plugs Wolf. You should have some maybe unused around the house.
As Prudie says they are called shelf supports you buy them in a bag 10 or so for a couple of quid from B&Q or Homebase.
Yep, plastic shelf supports.
I don't have any around the house...
You can get metal ones in B & Q, they will never break, much better than the plastic ones which go brittle after a while.
Cat playing on a bookshelf that novel I get the coat
