I have no hot water in my kitchen sink but it is coming out of the bathroom sink fine. It gets it from the same boiler so I don't understand what's gone wrong with the kitchen. Any ideas very gratefully received!

Diverted valve?
Probably an airlock causing your problem.

Any idea what I can do or is it a plumber job?
See if this helps, Scarlett ( if it is an airlock causing your problem ).

Do you mean the water is cold ....or no water at all?
We regularly get air in the system so the kitchen tap runs at a trickle. We have to leave it on and run to the bathroom to turn the bath tap on until the air is cleared - sometimes more than once. It all depends on your plumbing I guess. I wondered if our way works because the bath tap is lower than the kitchen tap, and closer to the back boiler. However if the bath tap runs at a trickle we have to run the bathroom hot tap to clear it. Weird!

Thanks all. I seem to have fixed it by running the tap at full pelt. Without this, the boiler didn't kick in and come on.
