Hi My Salus room thermostat sender is playing up the heating does not do what the sender is set at i.e will not switch off when the sender is set way below actual room temperature, Can i just buy a new sender and fit it in place of the old one without the services of an electrician

Tried changing the batteries in the sender unit first?
