I need a new cleaner but most of the house is now laminated except bedrooms and stairs
Can anyone recommend a vacuum cleaner for both?
It needs to be quite powerful as I shed hair like an ole dawg

Try a Dyson that copes with animals. I have one (a Dyson Animal not a pet animal) and while my shoulder length hair clogs it up often, if you have shorter hair it might be ok. Or if you vacuum more often than me.
We're going to start the Dyson -vs- Meile battle here again! My Meile cat & dog model has been going to for years, it does both surfaces and is a brilliant picker-upper.
What about on of the new cordless one?
Sharp intake of breath.

Quite powerful ? Should've got in before the EU. You're allowed just a 2.5 watt version now.

I probably will go with the dyson - I have the past two times - I just find them "complicated"

I thought about the gtech when I first saw it advertised but it has no tools so how would I do the stairs
New EU laws will ban any vacuum over a 900w so be quick to buy it x
I believe the new EU laws will ban the manufacture, not the purchase.
I have the dyson cordless animal, it's super, I love it!......
