If you do a bit of research on these things, you will see that a lot of people have had problems with them. The main trouble, of course, is that (when damage occurs) it can't be repaired like an ordinary hosepipe. The internal membrane is susceptible to various sorts of damage/deterioration which renders it useless. A nice idea....but basically flawed.
Sorry that this has happened to you but it has now convinced me not to buy one, I have seen them advertised and they look brilliant but have never been able to justify the price for them I will just keep going with what I have got and let nature do the rest!!
I've found over the years that anything getting it's own 15 or 30 minute slot on a shopping channel is destined for the bin.
A lightweight hedge trimmer that collects the clippings, drill bits that go through anything from balsa wood to concrete and cordless vacuum cleaners that pick up pet hair.
Not an exhaustive list. :-)
Unfortunately it's never best to buy these new fangled things until someone else has identified the basic flaws in them for you first.
Sliced bread is still the best thing.
