Hi Folks, have just taken out the sweet peas out of this planter,

Need something to replace them or at least look decent until I am ready to put sweet peas in there again next year. My very small garden is North facing, though due to close proximity of houses etc there is not lots of wind etc (so yes is quite sheltered). Sadly due to position it does not get many hours of direct sunlight, think it gets about hour and half ish on an evening. There is a clematis next to it, (that grows well) but don't want a clematis in this. What might take me through to next spring ish? Cheepish and easy to grow?

Many thanks in advance.

Mitchell.

Meant to say planter is 15 inches tall and the wicker frame is 3 ft 8 inches tall.
How about some Autumn/Winter flowering pansies, they may bridge the gap til Spring ?
Question Author
Oh right, yep could do that, they won't grow up the frame though will they? If not suppose I could put the frame bit in loft until next spring.

Any other ideas?

Many thanks : )
