Getting rid of musty smell

Hi All

I hope someone can help!

I have a black leather bag that smells really musty inside (almost damp really).

Does anyone have any ideas on how to get rid of this?

Unfortunately, I don't have a garden so can't hang outside!

Thanks in advance

You could probably spray it with Febreeze or something.
Have you tried fabreeze? then keep some nice scented soaps in for a while worth a go.
Try airing it out thoroughly for a day or so and then place an open container (maybe as large a plastic fridge storage box as will fit) of baking soda in the bag... then place the bag and baking soda inside a plastic garbage bag and leave it for maybe two days... worked well on a long stored overcoat we had...
You need to be careful with Febreze and leather - could you hang it discreetly out of a window?

Thanks for your suggestions guys.

I can't stand the smell of febreeze so won't be trying that but will try the baking soda one.

Thanks again.
I'd rather have the must smell than Fabreeze. Baking soda's marvellous.

Place a few grand in it and you'll love the smell Chick.
