smelly washing machine

many thanks to all you kind people, who replied to my query on how to get rid of the smell in my washing machine, I tried bleach, ( isnt it soapy) I tried the hottest wash on empty, leaving the door and soap tray open, then I tried calgon after two or three washes every is tickety boo, thank you all, it really was bad. have a nice day.
