Flat roof replacement

My extention roof is about 12 years old & seen better days.

I have put off replacing it as there seems so many different types available, from the traditional 'tarmac' type to rubber covering with 25 years guarantee.

Has anyone had any experience? Which are REALLY good? They all advertise they are the best (well they would wouldn't they)

Also what would be the ballpark figure? The area is 24ft X 12ft.

Many thanks in advance,

Millie

My neighbour had his done with fibreglass over 20 years ago.
Still 100% waterproof.
I had a board-and tar-paper flat roof that lasted 23 years. It has been replaced with a 'plasroof' which so far is presenting no problems, has a comforting guarantee and provides much improved insulation.
Mine was £1500 for a large L-shape comprising a single and a double bedroom - not sure what the square footage is.

Thanks both. I will look into those, I was thinking it would be around £2000, so I may be about right on cost at least.
