Quick,easy fix for leaky loo

Does anyone know if you can buy from D.I.Y shop some sort of bandage that I could wrap around the big pipe that goes from the loo to the drain to stop it leaking.It has done so for years but suddenly started filling an ice cream tub placed under it every day.Landlord takes forever to fix anything,I will be swimming downstairs by the time he has got round to it!
I am after something that can go on while the pipe is wet/full and will set under these conditions fairly quickly.Must be very easy to use.Thinking along the lines of Exhaust bandage but for toilets.

All products are/will be a temporary fix. If its the multiquik that is leaking only a new replacement will fix it.
I have found the clear silicon, not the white works best if you want a temp fix.
The area must be dry before applying. Then smooth it around where the leak is and let dry for a few hour,without flushing the loo.

You could try what is known in the trade as ‘all-weather tape’ – I have used it to good effect on leaky guttering.

Scewfix sells a roll at £3.99 or if you have a Tool Station near you, they do a roll for £2.99.

Both the above are rolls of 25m in length, 50mm wide. The tape is clear polythene and has good sticking qualities – even on surfaces that are not completely dry.

I'd recommend self-amalgamating tape. This is a rubber tape that you can stretch and wind round the leaking joint. It has no adhesive, the layers of rubber simply bond together. Here it is being used to waterproof a cable connection...

Thanks for those answers,they have given me plenty of scope so if one thing does not work,I can try another.I know they will be temporary,but at least it is something I can do(well hubby!) while waiting for the landlord to fix it properly.
