Memory foam , how thick

I'm looking for a pocket sprung mattress with memory foam but there seems to be quon in thicknses of the foam. Does anyone have any recommendations on thickness?

From my experience with overlays I'd say a couple of inches should be enough. Although if you like, the thicker the better ? You're just trying to compensate for your non-ruler straight body after all.
