Ironing

I hate ironing and I'm seriously thinking of contacting one of those 'We do your ironing' companies.
Have you ever used them or know someone who has, and are they expensive?

Ironing? I iron pillowcases and t-shirts, and summer skirts - that's my lot. Everything else goes clean into the cupboards, then if they need ironing when they come out, we do them then. Waste of time doing everything else.

We had one of these in the cellar Ron where my Mum would do the washing using the boiler and tin bath.
Don't know how our poor Mum's managed !
^ in case you think nibble's taken to wearing skirts - that was me :-)
missprim...Boilers, Tin baths, Outside loos etc... I am at an age where I remember them all.

Anyway, I think the ironing age is now past because of synthetic materials.

Consequently the following statement could be appropriate.

"The Ironing Age is the archaeological period generally occurring after the Bronze Age, marked by the prevalent use of iron."

Ron.
Why on earth would anyone iron pillowcases????????????
