Water butt tap

I have a woodem water butt the plug has split so water has leaked out anyone know hwere I can purchase a new one?

try your local garden centre, we sell replacements for water butts where i work, but they are for plastic ones, but you may get one to fit.

I think you might need and old fashioned hardware shop or even try to make one. I can't see a wooden plug being mass produced anymore or available in the "superstores", but I hope you find something.

Thank you I went to my garden center today and they are going to try and order one for me. seems a bit rough a £130.oo butt is written off for this one item>
