If you know EXACTLY where the sink, etc. will be, then carry on. The usual method is to fit all the components (bath, washbasin, WC, etc.) then tile around them.
For a shower, I would definitely fit the tray first, then either tile, or fit the enclosure next. It's your choice as it would depend on whether the tiles extend beyond the enclosure or not.
Fit the bath then tile to it (preferably with an L-shaped trim behind the tiles and down over the bath for a good seal.
Basin & WC........... if they're free-standing units, then tile first and put the basin & WC onto the tiles if you like.
If the basin/WC are housed, then tile after.
The bath will most likely be the only problem unit if you tile first.
Winky, can I give you some advice?
If you have someone in to tile for you, hide your stash of porn if you have one.
These builders ALWAYS know where to find it
............. er ............... I have to admit, Winkers, they are wise words from Mrs Overdraft :o(
