I bought one just before Xmas - it had a long stem and 2 bright red flowers. It got 2 more then eventually they all died. I looked up whether it would flower again and it said to cut stem down, take out of sunlight and in spring plant in garden. Just realised that the info I looked up was from a US website , so should I have done or do things differently? I still have the pot with the basically rotted down sten cutdown to the level of the moss.

just keep the compost damp and wait for the leaves if you don't get leaves in a month give up and bin it
