I have to write a one page paragraph on Floristry
I am almost done it but the last 4 questions I can't seem to find anything on google and nothing is in my text book so I was wondering if someone could please try to help me!

•why this industry is considered to be "green"
•the current status of this industry in Canada
•the future outlook for this industry
•the technological advances in this industry.

try changing what you are entering into google. A quick look at cut flower technology comes up with loads as does cut flower industry canada. I assume you are in Canada so contact colleges that specialise in this, speak to a florist, contact any association (look on labels on cut flowers in shops for details). No idea about Canada as this is a UK site, with regards to future outlook, I would imagine canada would face the same problems as uk florists. For the last few years the industry has had a battering by supermarkets which offer BQ's at less than cost price giving consumers an unrealistic price of flowers, this makes them believe that florists are ripping them off, so it is a struggle for the florist to compete for their share of the market. They have to market their skills properly, after all it's not cheap to qualify, supermarkets can't knock up bespoke arrangements for weddings, funerals etc. I'm doing dinner at the moment, I'll have a think and come back later.
