About £160
that includes take away and diposal costs? sandy.....
Yep.
There are a range of sizes .. The volume is smaller than you would think. Best value will always be the large ones .. like a builder's skip. Share one with a neighbour if you can!
It does in Belfast. Where it's disposed...better not to ask.

Thank you all for your answers, and a good idea to ask next door if he would like to share it, I'll do that.
and be prepared to find other peoples rubbish in your skip when you didnt see them do it. There was all kinds appeared overnight last time I hired one.
As a guide - just had a wooden lean-to demolished and a new UPVC one in its place. Filled the skip with all the spoils (wood glass, plastic roof, exterior door etc) plus a bit of garden rubbish too.

Delivered at 8am filled by builder and collected at 4pm

They do 3 sizes and I chose the middle (8 cubic metres if memory serves)

£120 complete
there is now an alternative system

Also remember that if you cannot get the skip on your own ground and it is to be parked on the street you will have to notify the council. You also need to supply lighting, signs etc.
Street permits are about £15 - just pay for 1 week only
Not sure about lighting /signs -i have never been asked to provide them

No, we're ok - we have a driveway it can go on, but the hippo bag sounds quite interesting as well. Thank you all.
