painting bungalow roof tiles

Hi my dad has just had his bungalow roof tiles washed treated with moss fungaside or something like that and painted, my question is will it last or peel after short time and also they got overspray of paint on some of the guttering (white) what can be used to get this off easier then just water...Im also going to check and make sure they have pointed the ridge tiles back up as to me looked like they hadnt but will no this better tomorow when i go look propperly and closer..
