Do any of you know where we can buy some tinted/soft tone light bulbs, bayonet cap. We have searched high and low in all our local shops but it would appear that since this new EU directive, regarding bulbs, that came out on the 1st of September none of our local shops seem to sell anything other than the new energy efficient bulbs. You know the ones, switch it on and wait 4 weeks for it to start lighting up the room :). And they only seem to come in white.
We haven't had much luck finding the bulbs we want on-line either.
Are there any tinted/soft tone eco bulbs avalable yet? and if so where do we get them?? Preferably from a high street shop.
Many thanks in advance.

Oops! You dont want energy efficient, sorry x
Yeah! I remember those i used to use the pink ones or sometimes the peach , they always gave a warm glow. The ordinary soft tone I feel are the same as a pearl. I too would like to know where I can get them
Thanks goaler.
I've always used Soft Tone bulbs in pink and amber, and was having exactly the same problem finding them nowadays. I've found candle-style soft-pink bulbs in the eco version (via Google, not in the shops), but never had any luck with standard size ... until just now. So, if you don't mind too much about being eco, or buying over the phone/internet ... check out this site for apricot, rose, terracotta, beige (?), apple and blueberry. Yum!!! :)
