cleaning rubber seal on oven

Have just cleaned oven door and racks using Oven Pride (excellent product) but can't use it on the rubber seal. Does anyone have any tips for cleaning this seal?

Thanks for any suggestions.

if its really filthy you may be able to buy a new seal from "gas on spares" of halesowen in birmingham, they have a website where you can find their phone number and they do mail order
