Induction hobs/ovens - disadvantages?

Thinking about going from a gas cooker to an electric induction one, as we like the idea of lack of cleaning and the rest.

But what are the disadvantages? Do we have to buy all new saucepans etc - we have a nice set of stainless steel ones that we bought years back - is stainless steel a no-no with induction?

Are they dear to run? Is the installation expensive, or is it just a 'normal' cooker box?

Thanks.

I understand that you do have to have special pans with induction hob.
True, grasscarp. I've seen no end of adverts for pans and they all seem to say, "Not suitable for induction hobs."
Have you got a magnet? Pans have to be magnetic to use on an induction hob. We had to buy new pans, but the installation was straightforward, and no more expensive to run than a normal hob.
