Leather smell

I have been given a leather reclining chair by a friend who has bought a new suite. The chair is in good condition but has a smell of old BO about it and a dark greasy stain where a head has been resting.

Can anyone suggest a cheap, simple way of getting rid of the smell? I have cleaned it with saddle soap but the smell is still there.

Thanks.
