Eucolyptus tree

When are you supposed to prune these. I've done it before in the Spring but not sure if right. Mine is now about 80-90 feet high. It grows like mad.

Theyr,e very robust...If you saw it off at any height, anytime, it will just start growing again......Mine did anyhow!!!

Yes I had heard that you can chop them at the trunk and they grow back but I thought that sounded a bit drastic. Thanks for your answers both.
I've seen that done, in a neighbour's garden. A tree surgeon came and reduced it to a 'telegraph pole' - just a single, upright stem, about 15 foor high. It grew back, and now, 2 years on, looks a proper tree again.
