Weedy Driveway

My driveway is very bad with weeds growing sideways.

I find the regular stuff you get from B&Q etc not all that great.

Anybody have any tips for a good weed killer so that my driveway looks clean again. Driveway is tarmac. Thank you.

Wow mine don't grow sideways but vertically !

In my experience drives need weedkiller a number of times during the year. All this nonsense about one dose keeping it weed free for a season, their idea of a season but be the weekend. And it takes around a week to kill the blighters off in the first place.

Rosate 36 weed killer as long as there is no lawn or other flowers nearby.

paullambert is right. Glyphosate twice a year, end of February, end of June. It's the next best thing to sodium chlorate. Works for me, anyway.

Rosate 36 is glyphosate...buy it off ebay.( Dont buy premixed) ..its very effective.Spray with a mist spray...on a calm day.It will kill most vegetation and soil will not be affected after a few weeks.
