Where can I hire climbing spikes from to trim trees with?

Sorry if this question sounds a little odd but I can assure you that this is for real. I would like to know where I can either buy or hire climbing spikes and a harness to climb trees with. I have a friend who owns a wood and have been trimming some of the dead branches off the trees. It would be helpful if I could climb up the trees and do the remainder of them.

Can any of you tell me where I can either hire or buy climbing spikes to climb up these trees as I do not own such equipment myself?
