Wisteria problem.

Every year, my wisteria has many flower racemes, but as these grow, long before they are mature enough to flower, the tiny flower buds drop off many of them. Does anyone know why this happens? Thanks.

possibly uneven watering or the plant has an insufficient root run If it is on a house wall it may not be getting enough water despite all the rain... if thats not a problem you could try a a high potash feed in very early spring to support flowering
