Apple tree

Have just bought a Bramley apple tree at poundstrecher. It has loads of flowers that was dropping petals all over the inside of my car on the way home Lack of water I think.Whats the chances of fruit this year.

You are not likely to get fruit for the first year. You will need other varieties of apple tree in your garden for pollinisation. Brramley apple tree are long lived and give good fruit for puddings and crumbles. Good luck with your tree.

Depends how old it is. Does it say on the label?

I wouuld make sure it doesn't by taking off any fruitlets...give it a year of care to build up a good root system first
