We have panelling in our lounge which is painted with a special paint which goes on quite thick and can then be sanded down to a smooth finish and lightly waxed, it is a ceramic water based paint and you then wax to seal. The shop we originally bought it from wont sell us anymore as they sell the furniture that this is painted with and would rather we bought some furniture from them!! Does anyone know who would make a ceramic paint such as this. We had it in a parchment colour, but I know it also comes in an old English white colour. Thank you.

What company makes the paint?

Unfortunately there is no name on the tin as that would make it easy. I think it just has number 107 has it. It is used to paint pine furniture as we have some painted pine items.
A friend of mine who restores antique furniture uses this company http://www.fiddes.co.uk/
