Driveway Gate Bracing Directions.

Building heavy wooden driveway gate. Unsure about the direction of braces.
Wheel at free end. Does the brace go from top hinge corner down to wheel corner or from bottom of hinge corner up to top corner of wheel side of gate?

Agree with Methyl. But if you 'house' the brace (on the hanging stile six inches above bottom rail, and on the head rail six inches before the leading stile joint) a stronger tie/brace will be achieved.
Not too difficult to do either.
