Never rely on underlays alone, Daggers .............. something like this.....

You may try, it seems a reasonable possibility, but I'd not hold out a lot of hope. Underlay compresses, it would be difficult to know how much extra is needed. Ideally you need to lift the floor and do whatever is needed to ensure all is level. And if you do that you can find out why it occurs rather than assume you know.

I'd level the floor with a bit of concrete, first.

Nice one guys, thanks. The problem is the floor is already tiled, I suppose they'll have to come up and the floor be levelled. I suppose the old addage of if you're gonna do it, do it right first time and all that applies here!

a bloke came to my new place to measure for the flooring and he said they pour this levelling stuff on first and it self levels or something, science or what?

Aye, I hear Screwfix has some of that stuff.

Daggers......... if you go for a floor leveling compound, as per the one in my link, you won't need to remove the tiles first.
