House driveway

Some oil has been deposited on my driveway whislt we were away and, it seems the surface has been damaged. Is there an easy/cheap method of repair? Many thanks.

Tarmac drive? If so, you could just cut the stained/damaged section out. Use a disc cutter (angle grinder) to cut a neat square hole.
Small packs of patching tarmac are available. Always a problem though, as with road repairs, you'll always see the patch.

My apologies to The Builder. In my rush to answer, I failed to acknowledge you, sorreee B.
Hi bgb, I guess it all depends on how big the hole is, and how much it "offends" you. Maybe just leave it for now if it's not too bad.
Remember though, one day it might grow up to be a pothole ;o)

Thanks again to The Builder. Have to sleep on it, as they say! Depends if MOH begins to nag and then I'll have to do something. In the meantime I'll see if I can quietly forget. Many thanks again B.
