Tiling Grout

The grouting in my bathroom tiles is looking grey. Is the only alternative to scrape out the old and re-grout. I've heard there are some products on the market that re-whiten, but am not sure if they do the job. Has anyone used anything like this and what was it like?

I would think the grouting need to be cleaned first but I have found a 50/50 dilution of water/bleach in a spray works well.
I can't say I've ever been too impressed by the results you get with grout pens etc, Minty.
Several simple removal tools are available. You could even rent an electric one...........
