Oops! Will sugar soap harm my paintwork?

I washed the paint work down with sugar soap, after sanding. The problem is I didn't realise you were supposed to rinse it I know, I know now!). I have painted over it, but will it do any damage over time to the new paint?

it may prevent 'keying'!

when its rinsed off it degreases and makes the paint an excellent surface!

Never realised you were supposed to rinse it off either! My paintworks fine.
lol to you lot!

Dried detergent that thinned down won't do anything.
i kind of wash it on and off with a cloth and they polish/dry!

i guess i needn't be so thorough!
