Dyson vac cutting out

I have a DC07 animal and all of a sudden it has started cutting out after about a minutes use, it comes back on after about 5 minutes, I have cleaned the filters so I know its not that, there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with it that could make it cut out, has anyone else had a similar problem that could advise me on what I could try to fix the problem. Thanks, Kath.

Thanks all, I'm not sure how old it is but I have had it over 5 years. I will try their website and phone them if it doesn't give me any answers. Cheers, Kath.
Could be worn brushes .. switch or cable. Get someone local that is good with lecky things to take a look.
Perhaps it has a thermal cut out that cuts in if it gets too hot. Can you feel any hot spots around the motor?
...here's a free number to contact Dyson on: 0800 2980298, rather than paying!
Have you washed out the filter lately, they will become blocked and cause the motor to overheat and trip out, when it cools it will come on again.
If it is not the filter, check every piece of pipe using something fairly stiff and flexible like a piece of hosepipe. Ours was crippled by a lolly stick wedged in an inside bend.
Motors on appliances sometimes have a thermal fuse embedded in the windings to stop the appliance bursting into flames if it overheats
