Lyonesse, where is it and any good B&B's?
Mmmmm the mysterious Isle of Lyonnesse, where can I find info on this myth.

(Fri 18:44 23/May/03) Lyonesse is the fairy or fair folk island where Arthur was taken in a barge dying from a wound given to him by his son mordred. It is said to be always summer there with springs of water sweeter than wine and fruit trees bearing fruit surpassing the fairest grown in mortal lands. (Fri 21:43 23/May/03) That novel trilogy that woofgang is talking about is the Merlin Trilogy by Mary Stewart. There's also the Lyonesse Trilogy by Jack Vance, which has recently been reprinted and so should be easily available. | |
