Regiments

How can I discover which regiments stayed at a particular barracks at a particular time?
This would be during World War 2.

The problem you will face is that the records will be held by the Regiments. not the barracks (if minor - if major then both will hold them). Are you talking about major or minor places?

I'm not sure if major or minor places to be honest.

perhaps you might know if I give you what little information I have?
The barracks in question were at Bank Lane, Irlam o'th
heights, Pendleton, Salford.
It was a tent barracks (would that make it minor?)
The date in question would be September 1942.
