Total Jewish control of Jerusalem

Hi, can someone please tell me the total number of years Jerusalem has been under Jewish control? I don't seek an exact figure in years, but something at least rounded off to the nearest century.

Please also state sources backing up any answers, thanks.

Essentially, since the 1967 war... problem is, Jerusalem isn't well defined as to size. It's estimated that Israel controls roughly 90% of Yirushalym today...

By my calculations it seems to be roughly 600 years, if you take into account Kingdom of Judah/Kingdom of Israel, Hasmonean Kingdom and Herodian Kingdom.

Can someone confirm or deny this?

Allowing for Clanad's caveat, I concur with a figure of 6 centuries for Jewish nominal control of Jerusalem:

Judah (931-597 BCE) ~ 334 years

Macabees (164-63 BCE) ~ 101 years

Zealots (66-70CE) ~ 4 years
