Not as such, providing you are able to control the pedals without them (and the usual provisos - that you are a licensed and insured driver, and the vehicle is roadworthy and has an MOT certificate.)

not illegal at all, although i wouldnt want to do it
In Australia it is illegal to drive barefoot and also to park on the road with your rear lights facing traffic.
