Yep, a King is offed like this every other day.
Wasn't he helped in his way with a shot of something? I thought that was if not 'well known' then at least known.
Henry I was put out of his misery with an extra portion of lampreys, William 2 was probably assassinated, Henry 6 starved to death, Edward 2 er 'stabbed', Edward 5 strangled, Richard 3 chopped down in battle, Richard 2 done away with by Henry 4

Don't get me wrong.....I expect Doctors have been doing this since Adam was a lad. But if you read my Wiki link, it was make sure it appeared in the mornings Times, rather than "some lesser publication later in the day" as much as a merciful act.
