Type Your Answer Here...It is dependant on what system you are running on also the browser.

If you are on Firefox it is a simple method of clicking on history on the top of the screen and deleting all one's browsing history.
I don't think you need to clear your browsing history.
I dont see any reason to clear your browser history unless you been visiting sites you don't want anybody else to know about.

What ya been looking at maggie?
I understand that your browser history is stored on your hard drive. It's not good to let your hard drive get filled up with stuff that you don't need, so it helps to clear your browser history every so often. If you use Internet Explorer, you can clear your browser history like this:
click on the gear wheel at top right of the screen.
on dropdown menu click Internet Options.
on next dropdown menu you can see how to delete your browser history.
Suggestion: clear it every two or three weeks, depending on how often you use the computer.

// I don't think you need to clear your browsing history.//
is an excellent answer to the question " do you think I need to clear my browsing history ? "

but I fear this was not the question asked

top right hand corner - go to 'donut' or capital letter Xi ( or chinese sign for 'three' or the pictograph for 'sarn')

tweak that

scroll down to History
click on that - select delete all and click on that

you may get a choice to select delete passwords
select that if you want

clearly I have had practice in this

why would one want to delete a browsing history when the CIA and MI5 follow you in real time ? easy one - someone else was using my computer
There is some merit in clearing them periodically, there's some evidence that hackers can get in via the cookies that track via your history. Follow the instructions other have given just don't clear your passwords unless you have them noted somewhere
Safari gives you a preference option to automatically clear history after 1 day, two days, a week, etc.
Other people have access to my 'browser history'.
Ive got every reason under the sun to keep it clear....
Browse incognito then, Nailit.
maggie, in the top right hand corner there are three wee bars. Click on them. In the dropdown box you will see 'History' click on that and it will show a box to the left. Click on that and it will show your browser history with a Clear browsing data. Click on that. job done.
