I have an old, galvanised metal drinks crate with the name Wilson & walker,Manchester embossed on it.
I googled it but can't find any reference to to its history or whether it might be a collectable item.

I'll be grateful for any help TIA

I doubt that it has any great value but it's clearly pre-1960 because that's when Wilson and Walker Breweries Ltd was absorbed into Watney Mann.

Hi Chip .. there are some items relating to the Watney Mann brewers company, in particular a book being sold on eBay.
